Michael Bogart is a writer from Chicago. After earning his B.A. from DePaul University, he was awarded a Follett Fellowship at Columbia College Chicago, where he received his MFA for creative writing.

His work has appeared in Connu and Big Pulp, among others, and he’s been a featured reader at the Printer’s Row Lit Fest, Two Cookie Minimum, and the 33 Reading Series

Michael peaked at age 15, when he won an XBOX tournament at Lollapalooza. Nowadays, when he’s not writing, he can be found running an obstacle course, enjoying a beer, or running an obstacle course enjoying a beer. Michael likes puns, punctuation, and cute puppies.
